Re: News From The Saint Front
I listened to the whole album last night.
It's very good, similar in quality and style to "Broad Is The Gate" although on initial listen I prefer "Broad Is The Gate."
They are both good albums though, you certainly can't go wrong with either one.

Brian has a good voice but it felt too smooth for Saint, this guy has grit.

I downloaded and listened once through....very good, reminds me of the newer albums...I like the vocals and having 2 guitarists in the band...I’ll have to listen a few more times but the standout track for me was “Hell to Pay”...And the last 2 songs

I would totally agree!
Re: News From The Saint Front
God Is God, Hell To Pay, Rise, Fragile and The Calf are my favorites so far. His voice does have a lot of grit. It's very welcome. It's somewhat similar to vocalists like Adam Lee Kemp on II (Crystavox), David Coverdale in his lower register (Whitesnake), Eric Adams (Manowar). The clips didn't do justice to how good he sounds in the context of full songs. Really enjoying the dual leads throughout.

Good, If it wasn't for you guys, I would never know this album is out already.
I heard the samples and they sound great. Some songs are sooo Saint and of them seem a little bit different, but still good, though.
I Cannot afford such an expense right now, But I am looking for a March or april purchase...Let's see.

Very good album I have played it thru only one time tho. I don't know the song titles yet because for some reason the songs ripped to my phone without song titles. Like others it reminds me of Broad Is The Gate but I already like this one better. Not as strong as Hell Blade or Desperate Night but still pretty awesome and I am glad Saint continues to put out quality releases. Dave fits right in and I like his vocals better than I thought I would.

Re: News From The Saint Front
Now, looking back of time, I think Desperate Night was the weakest Saint Albumfrom the 2000's.
Crime Scene Earth was Underrated as well.

I loved Desperate Night!
This album feels a lot like that one to me. I love the new singer who reminds me of John Corabi from Motley Crue. He doesn't sound like Josh, but he fits the Saint sound well. I think this is gonna help them continue for many years to come.

Just one correction. Desperate Night had Josh on vocals...alldatndensum wrote:I loved Desperate Night!

Broad is the Gate which has Brian on Vocals is awesome. very creative album, The drummer (jarod) and Guitar (Matt Smith) added a lot to that album as well.
I am glad that Richard was able to put the same band together even after 6 years with a even better singer (better than Brian).
You guys should Check Saint's facebbok out. There is a video of Vicar's of Fate with this new singer. Very good.

I know who sang on Desperate Night. I merely meant that the new album feels similar to Desperate Night.
