The Pilgrims -First Christian Rock band?

Just came across this. I think I might have heard about them before. Has a cool Beatles/Rolling Stone vibe to it.

Very cool! (BTW, both videos are the same song).
I don't know about the idea of trying to add Christian lyrics to contemporary music.  Sounds like a fad that won't last, nothing more than a novelty.

All joking aside, I really dig this.

The Pilgrims also spun off into another group in the late 60's that sounded like Jimi Hendrix, I'll see if I can find it.... Found it! They went on to form Out Of Darkness.

Thanks for posting this! I've never heard of them. I always thought Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill, and [possibly] Phil Keaggy were the first rockers. My Christian Heavy Metal education has broadened!
