Wow...a different Anthrax than I remember

I haven’t listened to Anthrax or followed them in a long time. I’m not a huge fan of their early thrash stuff and I just lost track of them. 

 I’m listening to “For All Kings”. This is much different than I remember. There’s a few thrashy songs, and they’re decent. However this album has much, much more melody than anything I’ve ever heard from them before.  For example, the song “Breathing Lightning”, not thrashy at all, hardly sounds like Anthrax. It’s brilliant! Suzerain is another stellar song. I’m really liking this record. If they continue making records like this, they’ve made a new fan.

They've been putting more melody in since Sound of White Noise. I agree, this is a killer album.
