Glass Harp?

Pretty excellent 70s prog rock with virtuosic lead guitar courtesy of Phil Keaggy.

Not straight up prog, they set the bar though there isn't a lot of competition.

I do love Glass Harp, but Neal Morse is still the best in my opinion. For the few '70s Christian prog bands, Eden (Germany) comes to mind. it's more prog than Glass Harp, but it is the difference between '70 and '78.



Other honorable mentions include Kerry Livgren, Arkangel, Jimmy Hotz (all 1980 debuts), Echolyn, Iona, and Glass Hammer.

Yeah I think they shy away from the label, but I know several members have stated they are Christians, and it is clear listening to their lyrics especially on the "As the World" album.

I've never been impressed by Neal Morse or any of his projects at all but I'll check out that song you posted.  Thanks.

Morse has some ok stuff but also stuff that gets uninteresting.

The debut album by Eden (mentioned earlier in this thread) is pretty high on progarchives' top list of prog folk albums. So if you can stand German lyrics... ^^

I agree with that. I think he's awesome at best and really mediocre at worst. And he has a tendency to repeat himself quite a lot.
