Bride “Snake Eyes”

I got my copy of Brides “Snake Eyes” this weekend. One listen through it and I liked it maybe more than any first listen of a Bride release since Scarecrow. Need to listen a few times, but it really grabbed me.

Just heard the song "famous when I am dead". Super cool song.
I didn't like john the baptist, though. So, the score is 1 x 1.
I will wait for more opinions before spending my money in this.

I was fortunate to have been sent the MP3s about a month ago.  I have been jammin' to this the whole time.  I got my CD this past week.  This is a really strong project.  It isn't my favorite, but it has passed several other albums of theirs as a top tier recording.  Snakes In The Playground and Scarecrow Messiah are my favorites.  This would come in pretty close to those.  I am more than well pleased with this album.

Guess I'll see if all the hype is true when I get my copy.

Mine should be here tomorrow.

Got mine yesterday. Looking forward to listening to it on the way to work today. It will be interesting to see how it works as a sequel to Snakes in the Playground.

I did, no dice. Shipping still says "out for delivery/in transit" by 8pm today. It has said that for 3 days now. Since it doesn't say "delivered" it's out there somewhere. Once it says that and I don't have it I'll be a little more concerned

Pleasantly surprised with this album! Very good album! Ranks up there with Scarecrow ans Snakes era Bride.

I'm finally getting to hear this album. I gotta say it's nice to have Bride back.

It is great to have them back.  Sadly, Dale has said that this would be the absolute last album from them.

Yeah, but he said that when they released Tsar Bomba too.  You never know, but I imagine it is the last. 

I'm surprised there haven't been any gripes about the lyrics here.

True!  What is this now?  Their fifth farewell album?  Each album since This Is It has been their "last".

As long as they can still deliver the goods on an album, I don't care how many farewell records they do.

I can’t wait for the next farewell album...and the one after that one too!
