Re: Dee Snider
Has a strong feel of Testament's current sound. Surprises me.

Re: Dee Snider
I'm looking for words to describe how good this album is... all I can say is .
In my opinion, Dee has never sounded this good. Do yourself a favor and check this one out. Here's just another example.

Re: Dee Snider
Hearing this song kind of makes me think what would Twisted Sister have sounded like had they not moved to enter the more commercial sound with "Stay Hungry". Their first two albums were definitely heavier. In some sort of alternative reality, it would have been cool if T.S. could have morphed into this sound.
Hey, Dee? Do you think you could get the guys back together for this heavy of a record????

I heard him in a recent interview where he made it sound as if he would probably never do another Twisted Sister album/tour again, mostly because he is getting to old to bring that kind of energy to the stage anymore.
Really digging the way these two tracks sound, probably going to have to pick this one up.

At this point, I think most of the Twisted Sister fans would be happy with a new album every 4 or 5 years.
Not having the energy to do that on stage? This new stuff sounds like it would take MORE energy!
Re: Dee Snider
It might have just been his way of concealing some other issue with some of the other band members (possibly Jay Jay). Or maybe it's just a pain to get the members to work together on anything.... who knows?

Re: Dee Snider
I got the downloads of the album. I am listening for my first time right now. This is way heavier than anything Twisted Sister ever did. I loved Twisted Sister, but this is more aggressive and faster than Dee's work with his former glory days band. To be honest, this could be Dee's shining moment in metal!
Re: Dee Snider
Gonna get this one...sounds awesome so far. Dee has a great heavy metal voice. Loved the first widow-maker album he did outside of Twisted sister...kinda sounds like a modern version of that.

This is a great album, verging on thrash at times.

I notice his voice, while changed, hasn't been ruined. I think he lives pretty clean.

Re: Dee Snider
I think its about a 70/30 album, personally. Really solid with some great spots, but a couple of tracks sound fairly forced to my ears.

i watched yesterday his testamony before Congress or the Senate bout censorship , i never realized how articulate and well spoken he was. and how ridiculous the perceptions of that time were
