Grave Robber - Escaping the Grave
From Rottweiler Records:
It's been over 7 years since Grave Robber's critically acclaimed "You're All Gonna Die" release.
In that time, the band faced many personal setbacks including family deaths, loss of band members, tour vehicles breaking down, personal struggles, health issues, and financial woes.
However, Grave Robber has NEVER been a band to roll over or surrender to adversity. The band has persevered through insurmountable odds and trials that would crush most bands.
And we are finally seeing the spoils of war. . .
Grave Robber's most raw, honest, aggressive record yet. . .
Escaping The Grave releases 4/13/18!!
Not simply a metaphor for all believers in The Reanimator, who will escape the clutches of unending death and reap the promise of eternal life, The title "Escaping The Grave" is simultaneously a celebration of Grave Robber rising out of the ashes of 7 years of vexation.
Grab this cd now at the pre-sale, bargain price until 4/7/18.

That's less than half what I paid (over two years ago) as a backer. It's worth it though.
Love the emoji replacement for #8. Anybody else hate autocorrect?

Hey guys, check now my review to "Escaping The Grave", the new Grave Robber album.

Yes, it's write in Portuguese, but you can read the english version below (But do'nt forget to click on original link. Counts a lot to me)
Grave Robber - "Escaping The Grave" (2018)
Rottweiler Records
#HorrorPunk, #PunkRock
For fans of: Misfits, Ramones
Score: 9.0
It was a long 7 years of waiting for a complete job from Grave Robber. At this time, some covers and an EP was released, but the public wanted more of these "lovable" zombies and finally came the long awaited moment.
With the participation of American legend Jim Chaffin (The Crucified, Deliverance) on drums and Tim Bushong's already customary production, "Escaping The Grave" is more punk-rocky than the previous works (which had a little foot in the metal) and brings some reminiscences of “Be Afraid!”, the band's first release. The energy and fury here is as primal as possible and its 11 tracks (counting on the introduction) seem to pass faster than the official length, which is just under half an hour.
Wretched Graverobber and his blessed Elvis vocals give all the charm that Grave Robber's sonority needs, but it doesn’t detract from the work of guitarists Viral and Grimm and bassist Carcass. Even with some recurring problems in the formation the team still stays united and sounds very cohesive and exudes excitement from the speakers.
The album in generally is a delight to hear, but the very short and fast “Into the Pit”, “The Evil Dead”, “Zombieland”, “The Best Within” and “The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave” are all to liven anyone up (did you really think I was going to let this pun be beaten?).
So my friends, prepare your lungs to make lots of "breaths", characterize yourself as best as you can, as your favorite zombie, and break into the embrace with Escaping The Grave. Incidentally, "curious" that its official launch be on a Friday 13, no? (laughs)

Re: Grave Robber - Escaping the Grave
Another great album. Not sure where I'd put it yet in the grand scope but a worthy album for sure and worth the wait! Love "The Evil Dead," Lips of Blood and "Escaping the Grave." The cover song "Jet Black Tears" makes me want to check out Leper. Never listened to them that I remember.
Re: Grave Robber - Escaping the Grave
I pre-ordered it! I loves me some Grave Robber. I kind of hope the CD comes on time because I'm anxious to hear it.

Shawn sent a message through the Kickstarter that the CD's were delayed and they won't get them till release date. Seems like, if that holds true, they'll all be late.
I just got a download ahead of my physical album through the Kickstarter.
