Re: ANGELIC FORCES ~ New EP
Sounds pretty good. I wonder if this has any connection to the new reissue of the band Angelic Force that Roxx is doing that features one of the Ultimatum guitarists.....

Great post
As a dutch guy im a very happy that we have a new good christian metal band in the Netherlands.
Their are not many christian metal bands over here.

I think this E.P. is excellent. I wish the band were more aggressive in getting the word out about their music.
Very few people seem to know about this band.
For those who lived through the first metal explosion in the early to mid 80's, this will bring you back.
It's a well-crafted mix of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, with an added emphasis on melody.
Galloping riffs and bass-lines, harmony solos, high-register vocals, light progressive and speed metal touches,, and an uncluttered yet edgy production. The choruses are largely gang vocals, which could be a bit much if they were consistent across an entire full-length, but for the 3 songs here, it works well.
Highly recommended if you miss the days of the sound and style of traditional heavy metal - anything from early German, Belgian, U.K. / NWOBHM, and Netherlands bands, I am hoping that they will release a full-length album before too long. In the meantime, they are playing the (mostly European) heavy metal festivals.
