These albums I used to introduce the girls to metal today. It works surprisingly well to calm them down when they are fussy. My wife, not the biggest metal lover, is not very happy about that

^I think that's the only metalcore album I own haha. It's a pretty good one. Though what I was listening to this morning in the car definitely has some -core to it.

Fleshkiller - Awaken

It's a good one. I suggest you check out Where Blood And Fire Bring Rest by Zao. It's a similar style, the guitar work has a very doomy slow pace to it .and the vocals have a slight blackened feel to them much like the higher vocals on the Mortal Treason album.
I highly recommend it, it's a very atmospheric album, it's not long either.
