Best way to sell on-line?

Anyone here with veteran experience selling items on-line?  Are there any good venues to sell on besides ebay that you have personally had success with?

I have quite a bit of office inventory I picked up over the years like stationary that I'd like to unload, but have no experience doing so.  Any suggestions?

I've been hearing lots of good stuff about Amazon Fulfillment. Basically, if it's got a barcode, you can most likely sell it on Amazon. You ship them the stuff, they store it in their warehouse, pick it, pack it, and ship it for you. They even handle returns.

They collect a fee for this.

I do not sell this way currently, but I am considering it. I have 6,500 comics I need to sell.

ebay for me, have never had an issue selling or even buying there. Have sold a ton of records on there. Never tried Amazon.

I recently had a friend start investing into this, buying items in bulk and then re-selling for a profit

My cousin got SCREWED by Ebay. I'd never use them for that reason alone.

From what I've researched, an Amazon Merchant account is free to open. They take a portion of your sales, but there's no monthly or fine-print fees.
