crazy thanksgiving...and some thanksgiving

hadn't thought of posting till now...we had a crazy thanksgiving night...

just hanging out, some of my kids friends were over as well...about 21:00 hours there's this insane noise. my first thought, did a tree fall in the back yard? as we have some 70 + footers back there...then (thinking about it later) I concluded that it sounded like a bomb...

turns out some guy hit the utility pole just off the southeast corner of our property.

he tried to leave because "my uncle lives down the street"... uh, right...
my neighbor basically said "I don't think you're gonna do that"

all the guy got was a bloody nose (airbag). he said something about not calling an ambulance because he couldn't afford it...I thought he probably won't have to worry about that because he's probably going to jail tonight...and he did as far as I know..

CRAZY!

I will also give praise to God here as my daughter was out on the side of the road talking to friends not 10 minutes earlier. the guy could have easily hit and killed them where they were... the first pic is from about where they would have been...
