The Slave Eye - Unto Hades
If you haven't purchased this EP yet... you need to fix that. (That is, if you like your metal black!)

Gustav Holst - The Planets
Very underrated composer. Like Symphony X's "The Divine Wings of Tragedy?" Then listen to The Planets. "Mars - The Bringer of War" is referenced quite a bit in that song.
Thank you, Gustav Holst, for playing a part in the creation of one of the best metal epics ever.

The other night my wife and I went to a Christmas concert of sorts and they sang In The Bleak Midwinter. I had no idea the Sanctifica song is (I think?) a cover of some 100+ year-old song!
Oh dude, I LOVE their album Spirit of Purity.

Also John Williams took a lot of inspiration for the various Star Wars themes too. Especially from Jupiter.Verbum Lux wrote:Gustav Holst - The Planets

Majestic Vanguard - Footprints
I haven't listened to their album, Beyond the Moon in a while. Almost forgot how great it is.
Interesting. That explains why Jupiter sounds like something I've heard somewhere else. For some reason I didn't make the connection. Cool.
