Rage Of Angels
I guess some of you guys have seen the comment from Danny Mariano on facebook, but I thought it was pretty cool (Talking about what happened when they split). So I thought I'd post it here...
I don't really know how to answer this question. I don't think I am the person to judge ones personal relationship with God. I can tell you that I am a Christian that I take the Bible as the whole inspired word of God and stand on it's word. As for the other members John RIP. Frank Dale and Greg at the time Rage of Angels was coming together as a band understood exactly what the band stood for and the direction I was taking the band. We were having weekly Bible studies at my house because my father was a pastor and felt that if the band was going into the Christian music industry that we should be prepared spiritually for any obstacles we should come up against. Again I am not one to judge a person's spirituality or ones personal relationship with God. I know for a fact and I can say for a fact that we never formed Rage of Angels just to get a start in the music industry we had many other outside secular independent record companies knocking on our door. I have to say again which I've said in many interviews the record companies in the Christian industry at the time we're no different than the record companies in the secular Market. They were just out to make a buck. If you know any of us from the band you'll know none of us are rich or famous. It just so happened that our best friends from Steelheart got there shot at stardom right when we were being released. To some the bright lights the limousines and the buses seemed like a better deal. We are all still friends all the guys from Rage of Angels all the guys from Steelheart. God had a plan for all of our lives and I guess this is the way it was supposed to happen I pray daily that God shows us his way and his purpose for us in this life the key is for us to be open and to listen. If you've heard anything different feel free to chime in I can only tell you what I know to be fact.

Interesting post, but can anyone provide some context? I'm not familiar with the history of this band. And what is the question he is trying to answer?

Re: Rage Of Angels
They disappeared and has disbanded either right before or right after their album came out. It has been rumored that they were only out for a secular deal and took the "Christian gig" to get signed.
With this new statement, that would appear to be untrue. Either way, it is still a great album!

Right before the album was released two of the members left the band and joined Steelheart. Rage Of Angels quietly disappeared.

Wasn't there a big expose by Heaven's Metal on the whole issue. I'd like to read it as I've forgotten the whole controversy.

Re: Rage Of Angels
Just found this recent video by Pastor Brad himself where he researched the rise and fall of Rage Of Angels.
It is actually a very interesting if puzzling story. But...see for yourself:

^Oops, sorry for misspelling Pastor Brad's name, I corrected it.
Here is another one because I have been dialoging with Pastor Brad on You Tube and he mentioned Area 312 Rock & Metal Vodcast so I just found this interview with Danny Mariano from Rage Of Angels:
Trying to see if there is any live video of Rage Of Angels from back in the day.
I will try to contact Danny through Area 312 but if anyone else is in contact with him, please ask if there is any live video of the band that exists. That would be great to see.

Re: Rage Of Angels
I do wish some of the guys would regroup and resurrect Rage Of Angels, but I guess one album is all we will ever get.
