The "Heaven's Metal" project

Not sure where the project is at or who was working on it. However, if your project is incomplete, you might want to talk to this guy.

I have a folder on my computer with nearly 2,000 scans of pages from Heaven's Metal/HM magazine from 1990-2012, including all of the Tooth & Nail/Solid State/BEC ads I saved in binders. I'll see if of I can put together a photo album and link it here.

He posted on here. It seems the last I had heard Doug Van Pelt was sitting on it.

Is this the same project that was discussed around here a few years ago with the idea of putting it out as a DVD? If it is, then yes, I believe it was delivered to Doug and that's the last we ever heard of it.

Jim Willis is the man who did the compiling and repairing of pages for that project.  He still has his master copy and did send the final edits to Doug Van Pelt.  Nothing has ever come of that, though.

Affirmative. While DVP never promised it would "for sure" be published, he did give me permission to scan, compile and edit the first 10 years for consideration to sell. 

I completed the work in the beginning of 2015 and was hoping it could have been released as a "30 year" deal ('85 to 2015). Doug had a lot going on in his life during the time I worked on the project. He ended up giving me permission to submit the completed project to ROXX Productions as well, in hopes Bill may be able to do something with it, but he's also been incredibly busy.

It's been about a year since I've heard from anyone about it. So it sits on the shelf for now.  I gave Doug my word that I wouldn't circulate the finished DVD without his permission as it is his copyrighted material.

Agreed!  I'd bet someone (including you as the compiler) could make some money from this if they were to market it right.
