Witherfall - pretty powerful prog

I came across this band a few months ago. Didn't expect the music to be interesting when seeing the cover art, but there's some real good stuff here. Maybe some of you dig this too.

10 years ago I would've been all over this but that phase has died down. Quality stuff though.

I just got wore out on the symphonic stuff.

There's not much emphasis on the symphonic parts as far as I heard. The guitarist seems to be the main attraction.

I must be in the right mood for this is really hitting the right spot. From 2:10 on it rips and tears and i'm reminded of Savatage with Zakk.

The new album is out and i'm loving it.

So my tastes ebb and flow and right now I'm listening to a lot of power metal and this is one of the best doing it these days. Mix Symphony X, Nevermore and Iced Earth and you get what these guys sound like.
