Aside from D's two Amos covers, I knew nothing about other metal when I started listening to them, so it was a while before I found out After Forever was a cover.

Is it better than the Biogenesis version?

I never knew this existed, where did you find it? It looks like it may only be available on the physical release of Hand of Death?Kerrick wrote:Adorned Graves - The Accuser

Yup I have Hand Of Death which is where I first heard it. I didn't realize it was a cover until I was sampling some of Saint's music on youtube and recognized it haha.

I'm just learning this now, but I knew 'Diamonds and Rust' as well as 'Green Manalishi' were covers.Pro-Zak wrote:Better By You Better Than Me - Judas Priest , it was so Spooky when I found out this was a cover I broke me Tooth!
Also, how much better could Van Halen have been if they didn't let Ted Templeman dictate to them to do covers on every album? Their best stuff are originals.
I still don't think I know who originally wrote Since You've Been Gone and God Gave Rock'n'Roll To You. Don't feel like looking it up.
Whitesnake covered itself with Here I Go Again. I never liked the song (generic riff), but it was a big hit.
Who wrote Summertime Blues? Blue Cheer or The Who?

God Gave Rock'n'Roll to You is from a band called Argent... I always thought it was from PetraSuperjuice wrote:I'm just learning this now, but I knew 'Diamonds and Rust' as well as 'Green Manalishi' were covers.Pro-Zak wrote:Better By You Better Than Me - Judas Priest , it was so Spooky when I found out this was a cover I broke me Tooth!

Aerosmith - Train Kept A-Rollin'
Led Zeppelin - Dazed & Confused
Jimi Hendrix - Hey Joe, All Along The Watchtower
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts - I Love Rock 'N Roll
Cyndi Lauper - Money Changes Everything
Blondie - Hanging On The Telephone
R.E.M. - Superman
Dobie Gray - Drift Away
Foghat - Honey Hush
Actually there are a few different versions of "Honey Hush" put there, including by Fleetwood Mac. It was a blues song written by Big Joe Turner, recorded in May 1953.
