Slain: Absolutely AMAZING prog metal/hard rock

Soulful singing, tasty drum beats, and creative guitar playing that actually goes somewhere unlike a lot of prog.  You'd never know this was from India.  There's some quality female vocals on some songs as well.  I haven't listened to it a whole lot yet, as I've just discovered it, but their sound is astoundingly fresh.  This 2013 release NEEDS to be heard by all prog fans.

While the voice doesn't sound like them, this reminds me of White Heart who also had progressive leanings.  There are other elements mixed in, too.  I want to listen more, but I do like this.

I discovered that this album isn't from 2013.  That is just when a fan uploaded it to YouTube.  It is actually from 2010 and the downloads of this are available through Amazon.

Thanks for sharing! I haven't finished yet, but the little I'm hearing piques my interest.

I know most of us don't think of India as a bastion of Christianity and it isn't, but the faith did make it there to it's south in the 1st century and established itself there.

O.K. this stuff is awesome.  I like it because it is soulful and most prog is usually too clinical.
