The Wonder Woman film looks like it will be amazing.

I may ho see Dr. Strange tomorrow.

^I just saw this morning on Yahoo's homepage that they're already talking about who Wonder Woman's female love-interest in the next one will be because apparently she's bi-sexual.

Yea in the comics the writers just added that

They asked the director about it and they said they dont explore it in this movie


Its not really that surprising these days, a lot of comic book characters are gay, bi or lesbian anymore

Next big thing is their going to make Batman and Superman gay

That is starting to kill the comic book genre for me. I used to watch Supergirl, until they started introducing her sister as gay this season. Supposedly the whole show is a metaphor for homosexuality. I really liked Legends of Tomorrow, but one of the characters is gay. Agents of Shield brushed over it quickly last season. There are people pushing for Marvel to have a gay character. Like Captain America and Bucky. It's getting silly.

It isn't just the comic book and corresponding movies, either.  EVERY show or movie seems to have a gay character.  Hollyweird is definitely pushing for more than acceptance with homosexuality--they are pushing for all out changing the public mindset that it is okay.  I just cannot accept it.

Even on Gotham, they are pushing it.  Gordon's first lady friend has a girlfriend, and they had Penguin ready to pledge his undying love for Edward Nygma.  I am so tired of having this agenda pushed down our throats at every turn.

Another one that I can't begin to describe my excitement for! If you have not seen part 1, then do it TODAY.

Perhaps they can have him as another replicant, same model, or something like that.

Not that Suspiria ever needed a remake... but this one looks pretty good.

Overall thread reaction:

Ben Hur remake is quite underrated.  The action sequences are outstanding.  There is a greater emphasis on the brother's relationship than the Heston vehicle and overall understanding of the cultural impact of the Roman rule of the Jews.  Only drawback is the hippy-ish depiction of The Messiah.

Blade Runner 2049, ugh, was a total sludgefest: see my review in the movie thread.

Suspiria is the most eye-appeasing film I've ever seen.  While a remake is pointless, it was probably inevitable.  I most likely won't be seeing it cuz it'll have even more occulticism, witchcraft, and demons than the first one.

This looks interesting but my wife said it doesn't look good. Imagine a world where no one knows The Beatles except one guy:



And if you watch close it looks like Paul & Ringo make an appearance if you look at their feet based on the Abbey Road album cover.

I will see it because it ties into the Avengers universe.  I am more excited about the Shazam! movie coming out, though.  He was the original Capt. Marvel.  I still remember the Shazam!/Isis hour when I was a kid.  They still called him Capt. Marvel on the tv show.  That's the real one for me.

Id like to see both Shazam and Capt Marvel, i dont know which one came first but i remember watching that live action Shazam show in the late 70s/80s

I used to watch Shazam / Isis back in the 70's too (what boy wasn't in love with Joanna Cameron?)...but the new Shazam just looks too corny for this day and age (plus I don't like the main actor, Levi, at all). I'll wait til it comes out on video then I'll rent it.

Something I have noticed about this forum (and other forumotion sites) is that the more YouTube videos that are posted in a thread the slower it goes. Maybe it's just me, I dunno, but I'll add another one to make it go even slower.

Imagine if Superman came to Earth and he wasn't a superhero but a super villian. This is the Superman origin story told with a spin. This isn't Clark Kent and it isn't Superman but it is the same basic storyline. Craft comes from space and crashes in Kansas, found by a farming couple with no children and the kid has super powers. Looks interestingly creepy

Just saw Captain Marvel and it was great. Shazam looks like it will be fun movie, something sorely missing from the DC lineup.
