I'd love to see a big screen version of The Greatest American Hero.

I grew up watching and loving some of those shows. However, usually when one of my favorite shows gets made into a movie (Charlie's Angels, A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, etc) they all turn out awful!!!

So I've kinda given up on the whole turning a favorite show into a movie thing.

Sliders as like a TV movie then show.

That's all I got right now.  Honestly, I just want that rebooted.

The first season of that show was fantastic.

Looks like they photoshopped everything below his biceps and pecs. In fact, I think that's just his torso on a smaller framed man. Plus, I think the image is backwards. His tattoo is on his left shoulder.

For the most part, tv shows that have gone to the big screen just don't work.  The only ones I have enjoyed were the original series and Next Generation Star Trek films.  Those had the original casts intact.

I will give a few great examples of movies that show why tv shows should stay on tv:

The Brady Bunch
The Flintstones
The Dukes of Hazzard
Wild Wild West
Beverly Hillbillies
Lost In Space
Starsky & Hutch
Bewitched
A-Team (I didn't care for it, fanboys)
Inspector Gadget
George Of The Jungle
My Favorite Martian

I could go on.  When they make movies out of tv shows, it shows that Hollywood is running out of ideas and wants to make money mostly off of merchandising.  While there have been some that were decent, the studios should probably come up with something new.  Except for Star Trek.  lol!

I agree with that entire list! I would also add Get Smart. Not sure about The Man from U.N.C.L.E. yet as I haven't seen it.

Add both as far as I am concerned.  I didn't think either one of those were great, either.

Oh, and the Lone Ranger movie.  While it could have been great if they had left out some of the "spirit horse" foolishness.  I thought Armie Hammer was good with what they gave him.  They made him out to be a total wimp in the first half of the film.  Johnny Depp actually did good with the version of Tonto that he was given.  Overall, though, there was too much unbelievable silliness that just made it corny.
