QR III (Quiet Riot III)
I have never listened to QR III...until tonight. Wow its so different from Conditional Critical. They added a lot of synthesizers and it sounds more like pop metal. I really don't like it.

I never made it to QR III. After seeing them on the Condition Critical tour, I was pretty much done with them. Not only were they bad, they were completely blown out of the arena by Helix and Whitesnake (the real Whitesnake, with John Sykes).

I've only ever owned their album, "Metal Health". Always been a fan of it - but never ventured out into other Quiet Riot territory. Not sure why. I guess cause there is a lot better out there!

They went through a stage of suck. Their early stuff and even some of the their latter material was great. The middle era where they went popish or got rid of Kevin and brought in another singer just stunk.
Re: QR III (Quiet Riot III)
From what I understand they hated it too. For an even bigger sound change check out the one after with Paul Shortino on vocals. Obviously they were jumping on the Whitesnake bandwagon... Not a bad sound, just not QR
The last album, 10 was a digital release only. I heard a few songs from it and it was AWFUL. Frankie Banali eventually had it pulled from all outlets and now it is no longer available. It had 4-5 new songs and 6 bootleg songs from Kevin's last performance.

Oh and I thought this guy was a pretty good replacement singer but he is long gone now

My biggest problem with "10" was the production. I downloaded one of the songs before it was pulled. None of the samples are available anymore either but for some reason Frankie pulled it from all outlets.
BTW, SA, I have had no luck in finding "SA" on CD but I am keeping an eye out for you.

I bought QRIII right when it came out, being a big Quiet Riot fan. I wasn't blown away, it was different, but I kinda liked it. It's possibly my least favorite album from the band, but it's alright.
