I dig it, reminds me more of Badlands than it does early Dio.  Still good sounding stuff.

Again it doesn't remind me of early Dio band output, but I still really dig it.  Some of the best sounding music I have heard from Vivian since he left Dio.

I would definitely make it sound a bit more Dioesque....but without those signature Dio pipes (or some kind of sound-a-like)  I don't think it will really "sound" like Dio....but I'm ok with that.  I would rather the guys not completely try to replicate their sound from 30 years ago.  Especially given that they don't have Ronnie on the mic.

I'm diggin' the sound of this!  I wish there was a lot more bands like Badlands and this!  I love the bluesy feeling of this.

Kinda bitter sweet seeing Jimmy Bain in that vid.  Really looking forward to this album.

New tune:

I'm not digging this new song much at all (Year of the Gun).  Kind of seems like a bit of a style change from the last album, and to me it makes the song sound kind of sound generic.  I haven't even looked into the lyrics (which are pissing off quite a few of the youtube commentators...not that is hard to do that ), just not digging this tune musically.  Hoping I don't regret pre-ordering the album.
