I actually won this album in a raffle!  It hasn't arrived yet though.  I'm going to read the review now.

Awesome, let us know what the albums like when you get chance!!!

I still need to pick this up.  I like the sound.  While not a clone, it does have a Dio-ish sound to me.

Fantastic album, it made my personal top 5 for the year.

Okay, now something to finally talk about on the forums! This has me salivating.

Actually DIG, it's pretty cool. I just wish the production was better. Jack's a good singer and the band is definitely very competent. Roy handed me his copy before he left to Brazil and said I should check them out because he thought they were right up my alley.

I listened to them on Youtube, and if that is the same quality, I agree. I think it could use a little polishing, but not too much that it is European Power Metal.

I listened on reverbnation. I agree on the production, but it is still something that I'm interested in getting. I like the style.

LOL!! Absolutely!! Not that I purchased this BUT when I do buy something I want to be able to hear everything. I don't like vocals getting lost in the mix (ahem,..... not that it hasn't happened on anything I've been a part of,... but I definitely wouldn't have let it fly if I could've helped it) and I wouldn't pay for something that sounds that it was recorded with a tape recorder. Not that this does, because it doesn't. I definitely would buy this and hope my buddy just let's me keep it.

Love this style of ''straight up heavy metal'' with strong ''clean'' vox. Killer metallic guitar tone, thumping bass and drums. Solid tune!

I just gave it a passing glance and liked what I heard, didn't hear anything in the production that would cause me not to buy it, certainly nothing like "The Sacrificed" last lp!

Just bought this....and talked to them on fb. looking forward to getting this. they said it ships out tomorrow. I like the style just ''straight heavy metal'' I never buy albums after listening to one full song and a couple of sound bites.....but I just did tonight!

I've acknowledge it, I've also acknowledged it to my band mates (to some of their displeasure), and again If I had ANY control over it,... then it wouldn't have happened. It is by far the biggest criticism of that record amongst magazines, online zines, and my peers. Hopefully someday it can be remixed and remastered.

As for Jack (whom by the way is a great guy and singer) and company, I stand by MY opinion.

Listening to it again and liking it even more. Can anyone show me a link to the lyrics?

Aww man, all this talk and now I REALLY can't wait til my copy arrives!
