My kid taught me something very valuable...

If you say "elephant " at just the right time before you sneeze, it will not only stop you from sneezing immediately but it will also usually end the sneezing attack altogether

I was able to actually do it today myself..

The trick is to know when to say it...

I found just at the beginning when you start to inhale is the right time for me to say it.

My kid has it down pat, he can stop himself Evey time

Apparently you don't sneeze as violently as I do.  Nothing can stop my sneezes.  I literally rattle windows and stop old ladies' pace makers with the power of my nasal trumpeting!

Never had a "sneezing attack", but I sneeze a lot during the mowing season...
