I was amazed how few people were on my list from the music field.....

Yes, I am aware that most of the celebrities who interest me are not actual people. Lol.

Growing up a Phillies fan, I'll play for seeing Schmidt show up right at the top.

For myself, I'm taking "favorite" to mean "I'd be most interested in meeting or having a meal with," and are all still alive.

In no particular order:

1) Bob Stoops (football coach)
2) Barry Sanders (ex-football player)
3) Calvin Johnson (football player)
4) Larry Bird (ex-basketball player)
5) Paul Pierce (basketball player [really ex-basketball player as far as I'm concerned, but he IS still in the league, I guess])
6) Mike Schmidt (ex-baseball player [although I loved the guy as a player when I was growing up, honestly I thought he came off kind of weak in his book, just MHO of course, and I guess he still makes the list])
7) Ed Viesturs (mountaineer and author)
Aron Ralston (guy who cut off his own arm after getting stuck in a UT canyon)
9) Bill Burr (comedian [who I probably wouldn't like as a person, honestly, but dang!])

I went to Saddleback Church once.  The size of it is enormous.  I think he gave like a eulogy for my great uncle or something, I don't know, he was a pastor there.

I went to Saddleback once too.  Warren wasn't even there/speaking (it was July 4 weekend, in fairness), but honestly I was a bit underwhelmed by the experience.  In my mind it was THE epicenter of a massive Church movement, SoCal "cool," mythical proportions. . . and all I could think about was how much more I loved the church of which I was at that point a part (which was tremendously awesome, also in fairness).  Anyway, Warren makes my list not really for his preaching anyway.

Hey, 4/5 for Arnold!  And clearly Peter is much, much smarter than the rest of us.

And it's true Hardcore, Chuck Norris is Chuck Norris.  Heh, nicely played on that.

The old Batman series was great, and I loved watching it when I was growing up,  but I think it was the Family Guy role that made Adam West a favorite of mine.

As for Connery, no other Bond came close.  But,  I gotta tell you,  I loved his role in Hunt For Red October too.

Of course,  the SNL spoof of celebrity jeopardy has a great version of Sean Connery too..

If so, add Doug Walker (the nostalgia critic), James Rolfe (the angry video game nerd), lewis lovhaug (linkara of atop the fourth wall), Todd in the Shadows and chris moore (rowdy c of tv trash) to the list. Though i dont care for the heavy usage of profanity they use (aside from linkara and rowdy c), these guys have done some hilarious reviews of really bad movies, tv shows, and music.

Some of these might have been more serious than others.  Humor may be dry, and sometimes it's tough to tell.

Never read his book, but I can certainly believe that.

He is actually pretty interesting to listen to as the color man on Sunday Phillies' games.
