The score was awesome too, especially the battle for autobot city.  Sounded like late 70s/early 80s prog rock.

This movie was probably the reason I love metal so much...  It was my favorite as a young tyrant.

I know. But this one is just as good, if not better.

Yeah, this soundtrack kicked ass.  I loved it in 5th grade.  I played it at work the other day and all the dudes were like "oh yeah!" and sang along.  It was big back then.  I remember about 10 years ago trying to find more about those bands and not finding much.  It seemed most if not all only existed for that soundtrack, or their other stuff wasn't that hot.  Can't really remember.
