Here's a video of a performance at church yesterday by me and one of my youth group girls.  We are singing Kari Jobe's "I Am Not Alone".  I am playing my cigar box guitar that has only 3 strings that I built.  Enjoy!

You play well. Maybe it's the recording, but it doesn't seem like a 3 string is enough to carry the music. Seems like a better instrument to accompany a guitar than playing solo.

Perhaps, but we liked the sound.  It may be that it is recorded on a phone and not professionally.

Here's a song I did by myself a month ago.  It has the same sound.

And here is the Christmas video that I did where I recorded this guitar in my studio.  I think it is more than adequate.

After the song, I was waiting for you to throw it down, raise the horns and walk off stage. I was disappointed.

Sadly, I have this great voice for singing in church but try to do metal on my albums.  This is why I am going to do something different than Mission Of One and try a blues album.

It must have been the recording. That sounds much better.

With the recorded song, I was able to multi-track and have two tracks going of the guitar much like most metal records have.  Then, I added the lead later.  The drums still sound lo-tech as they are simply my foot on the mic stand, a plastic mop bucket, a n African shaker, and some jingle bells.
