Re: The hardest albums to find
Man, I feel old. I remember a time when 1/2 of these weren't that hard to find, and I had them! I think I must have sold them all around 2001. In the early days of the internet, it seemed like everything would be available to anyone at any time. But now it seems to have swung back the other way and everything is rare or more expensive again. Maybe because there are fewer and fewer Christian metal fans and the economy is doing well enough that nobody is selling off anything.
I have mp3s of these:
Drop Dead--Death by Fusion
Thresher--Totally Possessed
GROMS--Ascension
Might still have a Towne Cryer cassette too but I dunno. And probably a CDR of Teramaze--Doxology somewhere.

Re: The hardest albums to find
I know this thread is super old, but I came across it while scouring the internet for this album:
Discarnated – Deus Misereatur
Anyone have it and want to sell?
BTW, here are some of my favorite and rarest Christian Metal possessions.

^Keep an eye out, every once in a while that Discarnated album becomes available. I actually bought it from a member here a couple years ago or so, then ended up selling it because all the songs sound the same (and that style of death metal just isn't my thing).

Yeah, it's not great. Definitely not worth the money you pay for its rarity.

I'm amazed at how expensive that GROMS CD is now. If I remember correctly, I got it for $4 new from Rad Rockers.

I have that version of the Stryper Yellow and Black Attack too on CD. It's the CBS Sony Japanese missiles version with the 1986 mix that has the original 6 songs, My Love I'll Always Show, Reason For The Season and Winter Wonderland. The 1984 original mix is only available on vinyl or cassette. I have the original 1984 digital version that I burned to CD. Someone posted it here a few years ago with permission from Robert Sweet.
I'm still looking for Rez Band Bootleg on CD which I have on vinyl. That is the only Rez album I need on CD where I have everything else on CD.
I'm also looking for Ken Tamplin Weird Odds and Ends. It's a compilation with a few unreleased songs.

I guess I haven't been watching the market, what does GROMS go for? Somebody make me a ridiculous offer -- it's a cool album, but I'm unemployed!

Re: The hardest albums to find
I consider myself a Christian Metal Collector, so I have a lot of rare stuff. Some I bought long enough ago that it wasn't too expensive and some I paid through the nose...
I created this list on discogs of my favorite ones. Some are extremely rare, some are on the list for other reasons, but check it out:

Tell me which ones on my list that you like the most or would most like to have...
