pre workout snack?

Hello all, have you any good suggestion about pre workout snacks? Although these snacks are essential for fitness. I wanna get some useful and healthy suggestions. Thanks.

Just a protein shake with creatine mixed in for this guy. Usually about 45 minutes before a workout.

I don't eat anything.  The growth hormone is exponentially released when our body's in survival mode and our stomach is totally empty.

One hard-boiled egg and either half an apple or a few grapes, about 30 minutes before I work out. Then after a workout, something with protein and good carbs - like lentils or nuts and the other half of the apple.
