Favorite Instrumental Album

Mine is definitely Alien Love Secrets by Steve Vai.

I don't really have a favorite, but these are some I like:

James Byrd - Atlantis Rising
Greg Howe - Introspection
Vinnie Moore - Mind's Eye

My favorite instrumental metal album would be either one of Nahtram's albums. I don't like the overdose of guitar showboating that I hear on most instrumental albums, Nahtram is more about the atmosphere.

Outside of metal, I'd go with The Snow Goose by Camel. Red Queen to Gryphon Three by the band Gryphon is also fantastic.
