Yes, it does sound really good. Better than Polarized, as that included (even though they were solid) 2 re-recorded songs, and 3 instrumentals.  This is 10 brand new songs, and they all sound great.

Still can't order it, so will try again later.

The whole album sounds good, but the 4 songs that really stand out to me are: Ripped into Exile (the title track), Autopsied Atheism, Darwin’s Missing Chimp and In an Ancient Time.

No offense to Erik Mendez, but the new lead player is amazing! Super clean and fast shredding!

I can tell the drums are triggered the same as the last album… but I’m used to it now.

“In an Ancient Time” is epic! It really paints a vivid musical picture. Two thumbs up. Way up!

Listened through once. It sounds pretty good. I'm not amazed but there was nothing worth skipping. I don't like the mechanical leads so much but they are fine. Falsettos have returned and are used well. I'm sure it will grow on me but on a first listen Polarized was more my style, being more aggressive, but this album has a better flow and seems more even.

The music and melodies are great, but I still can't get over the programmed drums. Why even have David Husvik listed as a band member and not utilize his considerable talent?

I haven’t listened yet, but I was afraid of that. I hated the drum sound on Polarized and it compromised the quality of the album in my view. Even on the weakest tracks, TQT always had an amazing drum sound and performance. And David is more than capable.

Good album, but the production sounds so digital and mechanized.
And the bass is kind of buried....

I’m enjoying it so far, but it sounds so digital and sterile. The super triggered drums are distracting since sometimes the kick drum sounds normal but then when David kicks it into high gear it is very triggered.

Guy and Gary sound awesome. The songs so far are pretty memorable.

I’m pretty tolerant of production issues, so it’s unusual for me to find it as distracting as I do.

Oh well, still has some good tunes and I’ll buy it to support them.

Loving it.  I've listened to it quite a few times (had the day off work today), and it's definitely gotten better with each listen.  I think Flood have their own unique sound, and it fits in well with Polarized.  I tend to picture it as being a mash up of Tourniquet and Echo Hollow, sort of meeting in the middle somewhere, and to my ears it sounds great.
Top tracks at the moment, for me are... Ripped Into Exile, Dawin's Missing Chimp, Others and Zero Hour.  But they're all great.
