Stuff that wasn‘t on Spotify that now is.
Piggy-backing off of Raegoul's similar post in the Christian section, I'm starting one here for any non-Christian updates.
This thread can be updated whenever we notice albums that have been recently added or removed from Spotify.
I just noticed that a group of Conception remasters have been added including:
In Your Multitude - Expanded Remaster
Parallel Minds - Expanded Remaster
Flow - Expanded Remaster
Live Singles & "Bound To Suffer" demo from "The Last Sunset"

I won't use Spotify for streaming. They knowingly will not pay anyone who gets less than 1,000 streams per day per song. They are intentionally stealing from artists and are no different than the original Napster when it comes to distributing music without paying the artists and songwriters.

You're perfectly entitled to your position and you are welcome to start your own topic about that.

I just discovered Flood - Polarized was added (although the artist is mixed up with other artists called Flood, as Spotify often does)
As for the ethics, I think if an artist voluntarily puts their stuff on Spotify it is fine to listen to it there. I do buy albums I really like, but all of the albums I have bought I never would have discovered in the first place if it weren’t for Spotify

Nice find. I got the CD but it doesn't get played often because I got bluetooth in my car and listen to spotify via my phone mostly.seth wrote:I just discovered Flood - Polarized was added (although the artist is mixed up with other artists called Flood, as Spotify often does)

Just read that Neil Young's albums are coming back to Spotify after 2 years of absence. No date given as to when though.

Eh...not quite. He's still having a hissy fit but the money involved has made him change his mind.

Yep, a good 2 dozen or more Neil Young albums are back on Spotify.
Lots of live albums. Missing some big studio ones like Ragged Glory, but there's still a huge amount of content there.

Good to know so I don't accidentally listen to them.

In line with her buddy Neil Young, Joni Mitchell has now put her music back up on Spotify.
I guess they needed the money.....

The only other one that I know raised a stink about Spotify was David Crosby but..he's dead now.BaleMaster wrote:Any other leftover sixties relics?
The 60's had some good music though, better than a lot of the generic crap we have now.

P.O.D.'s "Lies We Tell Ourselves" E.P. is now on Spotify.
