Since top ten thing is a bit of trend at the mo I thought I'd ask everyone what their top ten death metal albums are

Also in my top bracket

Living sacrifice non Existent

Crimson thorn Unearthed

Morbid Angel (a bunch of theirs)

And whole lot of other stuff I'm forgetting.

You could probably put Ecthirion "Psalms of the Risen Dead" in #1 or #2, but I'm not sure they count, they have death metal vocals, but their more symphonic metal (and I know symphonic death exists, but there's a difference).

I've not heard those bands before. I have heard a lot of death metal but a Symphonic death metal band I have not yet some across, unless that's what Septic flesh and the like are...

Not gonna lie, just the sound of those words put together makes me dry retch a little...

Check out their song "Immortality"... "Chariots of Elysium" is my favorite song from them, but it's more on the symphonic side, Immortality is more on the death side
