Most Underrated Metallica Song/Solo/Album/Riff etc.

What in Metallica's discography do you think is the most underrated? This could be a riff, solo, song, album, anything. I think that one very underrated solo is the solo for Sad But True, everyone talks about the main riff(which is also amazing but very not underrated) not the amazing solo Kirk laid down. I also think that Room Of Mirrors from 72 Seasons is underrated. It's a great song but no one talks about it because it's in between two more popular songs Too Far Gone? and Inamorata(which is my fav from the new album). I could list more but I want to see what other people have to say first.

This song defines everything Metallica came to be even though it's not their song.  Its like they covered this song back in the day and decided to create a band around it.  It even has the sorrowful breakdown in the bridge that builds to a climatic intensity.  Anyway great riffage, great solo, great production with the AJFA drum sound in place and sounds like they played it live with the perfect explosive ending.

Couldn't agree more about Room of Mirrors. I love the solo and overall song. That album and DM are the most underrated. Not sure which riffs, there's a lot.

My Apocalypse. Imo it's a top-tier Metallica song.

Yes! Nice to see Death Magnetic getting some of the love it deserves.

One song that I think is VERY underrated is Frayed Ends Of Sanity from ...AJFA.

Escape for sure. My fav from RTL.

Other than that one, probably Hate Train. Great high-energy song...and that breakdown riff at 4:55!

I just looked up Hate Train, it's on Beyond Magnetic! Nice to see that getting some love. I've listened to it but I wasn't looking at titles or anything so I didn't realize Hate Train was one of those songs.
