Metal Church's Blessing In Disguise is 35 today.

Great album and started a great run of albums.

My favorite MC album. Howe just wails here and the songwriting is on point. “The Powers That Be” might be my favorite MC song. 

I’ve said it before: Metal Church rules.

LOVE IT

Love "The Dark" more though.  Anthem to the Estranged has some cringe lyrics.  Howe gets a bit pitchy sometimes on the album.  The production is awesome as is the drumming.  I don't want MC to continue unless they can get a drummer who can play "It's a Secret" perfectly.  The album cover looks super cheap like they did it at K-Mart.

They had some terrible cover art. The Human Factor is odd and Hanging in the Balance is an abomination. 

The Dark is underrated and better than the debut.

Blessing in Disguise is awesome! Great songs and thoughtful lyrics. 

“Of Unsound Mind” is one of my favorite songs by any band!

They were on her Blackheart records label.

I would have to give this album another listen.  My favorites are the first 2 albums.  
After that things were kind of spotty for me, although I give them credit for consistency and tenacity.

Great album.  Badlands is one of the best metal songs of all-tome.
