Can't wait to spin this classic.
What? I have this, and I had no idea it had that kind of monetary value!
Yep. I didn't read the details of the previous ebay sales, but about 8-9 months ago one rose in a bidding war to 80(ish) bucks, then more recently I saw one bid up to 100 bucks. I therefore wrote off ever owning a copy myself... until I found this one and only one person had bid on it (9.99), so I put 20 bucks maximum and ended up getting it !! I was shocked. I guess the collectors paying top dollar for this album must have been asleep or something. So yeh, I'm pretty happy about this one.

Re: Vinyl
It's pretty good. A little AOR, little pop/rock and some New Wave from '86.
Basic rock with a bit of the 77s and maybe a little bit of U2 in there.
Nothing to write home about, but still a classic for any Christian vinyl collection.
Since it's hard for me to describe, I'll just upload the mp3 files for you to decide yourself what they sound like:

Re: Vinyl
I just acquired several vinyls today. I'm pretty excited about 'em! A couple of 'em have a little missing paper on the front, but not too bad.

So many LPs to obtain, so little money...
Not to mention the "needle in a haystack" dilemma of finding such treasures.

Yes it is a cool one! It is a re-release from Veritas Vinyl, great label. Do you have it too?

I approve.
Had no idea Mortal and Brainchild made it to vinyl, though. Very cool!

After seeing all these cool and rare records people own, its make my collection look pretty lame. I always enjoy playing and collecting records. Keep them coming.

Re: Vinyl
I like Vinyl for the following reasons:
1. Nostalgia - Records take me back to my childhood/teen years when LPs were the norm.
2. Collecting Christian vinyl is fun due to the fact that I was not a believer during those years and missed out on so many great albums.
3. The large artwork and inserts are SO awesome to just hold and look at and read.
4. That sound... ahhhh that wonderful sound. Partly nostalgic, but partly it just SOUNDS SO GREAT ! A CD cannot compare.
You Vinylphiles know what I'm talking about.

Re: Vinyl
yep, a bit rich for me though. I hafta cut back on my spending as I've been a bit wild lately. Stryper will hafta wait for another day.
I recently won the following on ebay... I actually don't really know anything about this limited version - can anyone here tell me more about it, and was it a good find ?
