Don't care for a lot of the modern-rock-y type of stuff on later albums, but I've liked them since Set It Off and saw them live several times.  I'll list some of my favorites later.

I think the side project is called “I am the storm.” I was never interested because I don’t like hip hop, but if you do like it you could check it out

Not a big hip-hop fan but DC Talk and Tobymac are pretty good

I’ve always thought of DC Talk as primarily rock, with occasional rapping on some songs. Toby Mac does a lot of different styles

I’ve only heard their album Jesus Freak

The first 3 are straight pop-rap.

I think of the songs I remember hearing, "E for Extinction" was the best or maybe the "Welcome to the Masquerade" song. All I remember when I saw them live is they played a great cover of Soundgarden's "Outshined."

I bet a lot of metalheads bag on these guys for being nu-metal or rapcore, but they got excellent guitar tones (you can really feel the chords rip through you) and some clever riffs.

I pretty much just ranked the songs I like.

Yeah, nu-metal gets too much hate imo
And yeah, never thought of how much they say "party" lol

Yeah nu-metal is not even close to my favorite genre, but at least it’s better than core. And can actually be pretty good, as shown by TFK

The best thing about nu imo is the riffs

TFK is a mixed bag for me but I absolutely love the album Phenomenon, with the exception of the track This Is a Call.

Yeah, it's a good song, just not my style. The best songs on that album imo are Step to Me, Last Words, and Faith, Love, and Happiness
