Album is out now! Jagged Doctrine featuring Dale Thompson of Bride and Syd Rentz of Morellas Forest on vocals

Our new Jagged Doctrine album "Eve of Destruction" is out on most digital streaming platforms now.
This album features Dale Thompson of Bride singing the vocals and he did an amazing job.
Bride was my favorite metal band of all time and it was a thrill to have him sing lead vocals for these songs.
Rod Middleton and I wrote all the songs/lryics and had them recorded with Rod doing the lead vocals.  Then we sent the tracks to Dale, with Rod's vocal, and a copy without so that Dale could sing the lines as well.
Then Dale sent all the raw vocal tracks back to me and I mixed them with the original music.
Dale's added flair took our songs to the next level, in my opinion.  He's so talented!
One song also features Sydney Rentz.  She was the lead vocalist of the Tooth and Nail band Morella's Forest from the 90's.  That song is called "Liquid Sky"  -- Both Dale and Syd are doing vocals on that one.

I pre-ordered the CD simply out of wanting to try something different.  Yes, I know it will be Dale on vocals again, but musically I just want to try something different.

It's not much different than Perpual Paranoia.

But honestly, all of these songs were originally recorded from 2003 - 2016.  We did touchups after we had Dale replace Rod's vocals with his with drums and keys, but everything else existed from years before.  8 of the 10 songs were just never released.  2 of them (Liquid Sky and Absolution) were released in 2004 on Flaming Fish Music.   
I did mix this album more "metal" than other Jagged Doctrine releases..  I feel that the industrial element that Jagged Doctrine recorded under before have become even more niche now than ever before and it's not as much of an influence on me these days.
So, if it sounds like Perpetual, it must be coincidence, or the fact that Dale is doing the vocals skews your listening experience to something you have heard before with his vocals.

I've thought about it, just didn't know how many would be interested in something like that.

Thanks.. we truly appreciate that!  Hopefully you enjoy it..  The feedback I've heard is that our hooks are really good and stick in your head.  Here is hoping you get some ear worms out of this CD! 

Have to be honest and say that when I first heard "Dale singing..." I wasn't too interested.  
But now I'm giving it a listen and am rather liking it.  "Die Again" and "Eve Of Destruction" are my favorites so far, they are close to being doom metal.  "Dream Tonight" is really good too but I wish the vocal effects weren't so heavy.
The last song is good too.  I'll check out the other album next.
