There used to be a Christian industrial band called Jagged Doctrine.  I've got the Absolution CD.

LOL.  The setup for that joke was just too perfect.  Funny, I just assumed it was a completely new project and focusing lyrically on the condemnation he's received regarding theology/doctrine.  I once made the mistake of commenting on a decent-sized FB thread about it.  He was not happy and the thread got locked very quickly...

I will listen to samples when they come out.  If it is industrial, though, I probably won't get it.

Musician's need to stop saying that EVERY album they work on is one of best they've heard. Just put it out there and let the public judge.

I'm curious if it's industrial, I really enjoy the Generations album and some of Circle of Dust.

Too much, too often. He needs to take his time and develop something high quality. Not keep throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Agreed!  It takes MINIMUM 15 years to make a truly great album in my personal experience.

The cover looks cool.  I want to hear a couple of tracks before I get yet another Dale project.  They are all starting to sound the same.

I always cringe when they do that.  And then, when the next album comes out, they disavow their last album saying "well it had some problems....but we got it right this time!  Trust us!" 
 

The fan reviews contribute to this as well.  Just look at the Amazon reviews for the Stryper albums for example.   
At least half or more will be like: 

....Album #15:  "It's the best album they've ever done!"  
....Album #16:  "It's the best album they've ever done!"
....Album #17:  "It's the best album they've ever done!"
...And so on.

Okay, I'll get off my soap box now and will show myself the door. 

Slight off topic (I guess), but I think one of the few bands that have done that, is Seventh Avenue.  Every album they did was better than their last.  Eternals, their last but one album was near perfect, and I doubted they'd ever top that.  Then Terium was released, and I was like, 'Ok, they've only gone and done it!'
