Dale Thompson started a new band/project or release a new album/single this month? [Update 08/05/2024]

I went ahead and bought the NOTW album.  After finally getting around to listening to it, I should not have.  There wasn't a single song on this that grabbed me.

As he said in his own FB profile:

I just couldn't get into it.  I wanted to hit the skip button a lot but made myself get through it.

It's missing hooks. I feel that way about a lot of the stuff he's on lately.

Apparently I'm not missing much.

How can anyone keep up with the projects that he's involved with?!

This album is available April 19th on Roxx Records. This is a pretty good blues album with 15 incredible tracks, with a hard edge in sound and style. Some of the songs remind me of early ZZ Top.

I just listened to the video and I must say that I am going to let this one pass me by.  The music sounds like a cheap Casio keyboard, and Dale's vocals just sound bland and uninspired.  I have bought most of Dale's side projects, but this just does not interest me at all unless they post more samples with something that wows me.
