Lets rate the Michael Sweet solo albums!

Just got a wild hair and decided to do this. Now I wont be including Him, Touched, or the Sweet/Lynch stuff, and Unstryped doesnt have enough songs. That said

The others maybe have a couple decent songs but that's it imo.

Don't know how you guys can stand his weird voice... he sounds different after Strypers first couple of albums to me that I just can't listen past that.

Some of the tunes are cool, but not his voice.

Maybe Stryper needs to get a new lead singer?

I am a big fan of Michael Sweet's solo career. Great songs, love his vocals and tons of great guitar playing.

Truth is the only one I've heard all the way through, and I think it's pretty much a masterpiece.

Truth is his best album.  Check out his other album, there is a lot of great music to be found.

How does Truth compare to the Truth "demo"?

Like night and day, the full Truth album is a vast improvement over the demo.

One Sided War is his best one followed by Ten and the self titled. Next would be Truth,  I'm Not Your Suicide and Reborn Again. INYS is kind of Truth part 2. Even though Real is a mellow album, it's a solid album. Then it would be Him and Touched.

Between Truth, INYS, REBORN AGAIN and Real I would have to think about the ranking. 

Then it would be Him and Touched. You can't really count UNSTRYPED where its an EP.

Haven't heard much of it, I just know that One Sided War is a good song, and Save Me is a great song

One-Sided War and Ten are good albums.

I would have added Reborn Again ahead of Truth and Real, but other than that, our ranking would be the same.

I like Real, but it isn't my favorite.  It sounds like the label (Benson) was trying to make him to something that would definitely get on CCM radio at the time.  I would like to hear those songs redone in the style of his debut solo album with that same grit and swagger.  It might move up my list drastically if he were to ever do that.

I read an interview somewhere where Michael said he writes most of his songs on the electric guitar, but wrote Real with acoustic, thus the mellower sound.
