Fav / Least Fav - Iron Maiden Edition

I thought we had one of these on Maiden, but couldn't find it so...
Favorite:
Powerslave
I wish they had kept the more aggressive guitar tones from this album.
That would have made albums like...

...a little more tolerable LOL!

Still the best metal show I’ve ever seen.
Favorite: Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, followed by Powerslave and A Matter of Life and Death
Least favorite: Virtual XI. Not because of Blaze—I enjoy The X Factor—but because most of the songs suck like a Dyson.

Power slave and Somewhere In Time. But the majority of their albums are really good. Brave new world is awesome too. I stopped listening somewhere after that for whatever reason...

I love Powerslave. Other than that I only know The Number of the Beast and Dance of Death.

Oh man this is a tough one!!!
Favorite: I'm gonna have to go with Somewhere In Time. It's got some amazing songs on it and not much in the way of filler. Powerslave and Seventh Son are right up there too though (really, all of their 80's output!). Brave New World and Dance Of Death are also very nostalgic for me and thus rank quite high!
Least Favorite: definitely No Prayer For The Dying. There are a couple alright songs on it, but compared to their other material, there's not a single very good song on it IMO! It's also got some real stinkers. I'm surprised a bit to see all the hate for VXI. While it's certainly no Powerslave, I think it's got some really neat tracks on it and the fillers aren't awful either. Blaze's vocals sound better than on TXF too.

No Prayer is mediocre but I really like Tailgunner, Run Silent Run Deep and the title track while I only like a couple songs on the Blaze albums.

I almost completely agree with the buying public. Weird.
I'd switch Killers with Somewhere in Time and I'd put Brave New World between Iron Maiden and Fear of the Dark, but otherwise I agree with the sales.
