New Queensryche song

It's interesting that it seems to nod back to Promise Land, yet still sound new and quite removed from the Tate fronted era.
It's not at all bad.  The only thing I'm hoping is that with repeated listens it might be a bit more "memorable".  

Politically I wish they could have reunited with Rockenfield though.  Hardly seems like the same band at all with only two original members.

I wish Degarmo would come back but I doubt that will happen. I also think Grillo is a better drummer overall but I get what you are saying.

Yeah Grillo is absolutely no slouch in the drumming department.  The band has really excelled at attracting some great musicians.  But having been fractured so many times it really stinks.  At one time they were my favorite band (from like '84 to '96).  After releasing "Hear In The Now Frontier" which quite frankly wasn't all that great and having DeGarmo leave afterwards things just steadily went downhill over the next few decades.  But having Tate get fired reinvigorated the band IMO, but then watching Lundgren leave and this nonsense with Rockenfield it just seems like they are turning into one of those "revolving door" kind of bands.
Still if they make good metal, I won't give up on them.

And it seems no one knows what is going on with Rockenfield. It's all weird.

Yeah that whole thing is bizarre.  He took maternity leave like 4 years ago and apparently didn't keep in touch with the band.  Now he is suing the rest of his band partners.
