New King's X Song - "Give It Up"

I'm unsure if this belongs in the Christian music or secular music areas. Kerrick, you can move this if it needs to be.

Not bad. It’s like something from Ear Candy. Not quite a throwback to the more intricate stuff from the early 90’s.

King's X has not been a "Christian band" for quite some time, correct?  If so, I'll move it. 

I like it ok. Wish it was a tad heavier though. It will most likely grow on me after a couple more listens. That's usually how it works for me with these guys. Just wish they hadn't waited so long to release new music.

A tad heavier is a good way to put it. I thought the same about the last Maiden album! Lol

Still love 'em though.

Very average song for them, the last one was better. I'll still check out the album.

Did I tell you I love these guys... And yeah same with me all their later stuff grows on you. Generally speaking, if it's got a black gospel ya'll in church howlin' type vibe- Dug probably wrote it. If it's dreamy Beatles type vibe- TY prob wrote it. King's X last album I just love now as much as the old albums. Love their energy, always the band for me!

No they are not a "Christian band" as such anymore. Can't speak for them as individuals- don't really care about their religious status to be honest but get why you guys do... Anyway, what a  fantastic band!

Agreed. This is average for King's X. Still can't wait for the album to drop! And that's gotta be wallly Farkas in the backgorund with his Yoko Ono demonstration like on Tapehead.

Not really digging the two tracks that I've heard so far, but I LOVE DuG's bass tone.
