To piggyback off the other thread about great cover art, let’s post our examples of bad cover art. (This is all in fun!) I’m not talking just this year, but ever. (Let’s just keep it Christian because secular often has a whole other level of badness).

I’ll kick us off. This is a great album and, IMHBAO, one of the top 5 Christian metal bands of all time, but:

I really enjoy this album, but always thought the artwork was a bit cheesy and out-of-place for heavy metal.

The creepy drag queen image must’ve been very counterproductive for witnessing. I know if I was not a believer, I’d have a hard time taking them serious. 

Stryper wore the makeup, but it wasn’t as creepy as some of those guys posted above. Especially the two guys on the left from Stryken (and the guy in the middle from Holy Right). They have that “Night of the Demons” look.
