Impending Doom

I’ve been aware of this band since their first album was released. But for some reason I wrote them off as generic Death-core…
 
After listening to some of their stuff on YouTube, I found the Baptized in Filth album. I really like this one! I just ordered a copy from a German seller because his price is actually lower than the domestic prices.

On a side note…
We had a thread about bands not confronting sin anymore. I’d say this band is very bold in their lyrics. They definitely confront sin and Satan’s influence on the world. 

Also the drummer is very good!

Always wished I liked the band more. I have Death Will Reign and The Sin and Doom Vol. II. I listen to Death Will Reign occasionally for a few songs and agree on the lyrics. I have listened to their other work a number of times and thought, like you, the Baptized in Filth sounded really good. I've just never ended up picking it or anything else up.

I love these guys, deathcore, when done right is awesome and these guys do it right.

The last time I had a Death-core album anything like this was Immersed by Sinai Beach. I think Impending Doom is a lot better.

The one song with Ryan Clark from Demon Hunter was a surprise. It serves as a sort of intermission to refresh your ears after the previous onslaught of songs. It sticks out like a sore thumb, but I like it!
