Daygraves (post-black metal)
(I thought we already had a thread for Daygraves here but nothing came up on the search...)
I was given the privilege of hearing the upcoming Daygraves EP before it is officially released this Friday and I gotta say, y'all are in for quite a treat! It's really fantastic. If you dig the previous material, you'll definitely love Imperishable. For those unfamiliar, Daygraves plays post-black metal and might be comparable to secular bands such as Alcest, Deafheaven, or the like. It's very emotive, dreamy, and introspective music full of rich atmosphere. The Imperishable EP continues in the style Daygraves is known for, but upon the first couple of listens anyways, it feels more expansive and diverse. The black metal portions are heavier more intense, whereas the soft/post-rock moments are lighter but also deeper IMO. It's easily their [his] best work yet!

Re: Daygraves (post-black metal)
Nice. "Silver" was really good and so is the "Final Empire" single, so I am looking forward to hearing more material from them.

I'm listening to "Imperishable" now. It is everything you said it was.
Probably my favorite blackgaze / ambient unblack release yet.
Would like to read the lyrics somewhere though, have not been able to find those yet...
