Re: The AOR thread
And suddenly I'm in 1985. Sounds really good.

Re: The AOR thread
I found this cassette (remember those?) in the dollar bin at Woolworth's way back when. It was an okay album. Back then there were many of these melodic rock bands - "AOR" wasn't a term back then but we knew them by what they sounded like.
Re: The AOR thread
This band has been around since 1987, from Sweden. They're on the harder side of AOR.
Lyrics are very cliché but good song-writing otherwise.

IF Tyketto are AOR - then I love, love them.
H.E.A.T - If they are I like a bit of them.

Re: The AOR thread
I just downloaded the album from this very AOR sounding band (keyboards and everything). Nestor - Stone Cold Eyes.

I just discovered this band called Winding Road. Like their label-mates Universe Infinity, they are a recent band (2018) but are comprised of veterans of the Swedish melodic rock scene.

Re: The AOR thread
Pretty good stuff, like a lot of AOR it's formulaic and it needs that something to really grab me but there's potential.
