JERUSALEM ~ She

I have tried but cannot get not this album at all.
I did really like "Prophet" but this one is dull to me.

A bit softer than I was hoping for, but it has some great songs on it and holds up years after first hearing it.

This thread came at a great time! I bought this album on Amazon in August and listened to it last week from start to finish for the first time. To me Jerusalem is one of the few rock/hard rock bands that for the most part that put out songs what drips with the Gospel. There are some songs that are ok but there are some great moments/songs here. I'm not sure of this is a concept album but there is a central theme that runs through the album: The remnant/church is the Bride of Christ and He expects and demands her to be holy. The parts of the church as individuals or groups over the years have compromised to the world like a wife cheating on her husband. 

In addition, the church have to come out of Babylon (known as the Harlot in revelation) and not be influenced by Babylon's (the world's) ways. That's what I got from the album. Jerusalem is currently writing a follow up album.

I love Jerusalem, but I never really enjoyed 'She' when it was released.  Maybe I'll have to give it another spin also.

Old School Doom, what did you mean a 16 year hiatus? They released Those were the Days in 1997 and RAD in 1998, Live Pa Ren Svenska in 1998 with 1 unreleased track and Tretti (30) in 2006 with 3 unreleased tracks. From the several youtube videos of them they seem to be active regarding playing live. They also sound much heavier than on some of their albums and at times a bit theatrical. CJ Grimmark (Narnia) plays some guitar and keyboards as well I think at their performances in recent years.
