I red some news about a 45 year anniversary tour on Jerusalem, but nothing about a brand new album.

I first heard of Jerusalem with Dancing on the head of the serpent, which I thought was a killer hard rock -album. Then Prophet was the next and I was a bit of confused of it. But in the end Prophet was the album that I enjoyed most of their catalog. I haven´t listened to them in 15 or so years, but it is still nice to see they are doing it.

Re: Jerusalem Live 84
I have the first 6 Jerusalem albums (Volume 1, Volume 2, Warrior, Can't Stop Us Now, In his Majesty's Service and Dancing on the Head of a Serpent) on CD that Retroactive reissued last year. I though the reissues were well done. I also have RAD that came out in 1997 or 1998 and it's ok - the first 3 or 4 songs are good and another 2 or 3 songs besides. I wouldn't mind getting Those Were the Days. I may get Prophet and She if I can find it real cheap where to me those weren't their best albums. Warrior, Can't Stop Us Now and Dancing on the Head are my favorite albums.

Can anyone recommend some faster-paced songs from Jerusalem? Their higher tempo tunes are generally my favorite. I loved that one song they opened their first American concert with, for example.

While it's not a faster song, check out Soldier by them, I love that one.

Re: Jerusalem Live 84
I find that the live Jerusalem concert footage over the past 10 years is much more heavier and aggressive than before or maybe it's my ears. Does anyone find this? It seems like the aggressiveness of the music matches the urgency of the evangelistic/in your face lyrics which makes sense.
I have their first 6 CDs and RAD. Of those to me the heaviest are Warrior, In His Majesty's Service, Dancing on the Head of a Serpent and parts of RAD. I've heard Prophet and She online and She is also fringes into the hard rock territory as well. I find that Can't stop Us Now, except for the poppy songs Can't Stop Us Now and Let's Go Dancing and the 1 or 2 ballads could of been a heavier album like Warrior. The guitars seems to be reduced in the mix. I'm thinking if they were more out in the forefront the album would of been more heavier. When they play the songs from CSUN the songs do sound heavier.
I haven't heard Those Were the Days and that is a hard album to track down and listen to. Does anybody have any idea where I can find this album to buy or listen to?
