Dee Snider - Leave A Scar

I bought the download of Dee's new album.  All I can say is, "Wow!"  This is much heavier than his work with Twisted Sister.  For a man of his years, he is rockin' much more like a young kid with this.  With this new album, he shows he's still got it.

I liked the last album he put out a few years ago “For the Love of Metal”, but his anti conservative online banter last year was a huge turn-off to me. I’m not sure I want to support him this time… maybe I’ll wait to get a hold of used copy. LOL
I don’t even know if I’ll like this album. I need to hear samples on YouTube. 

I really hate when artists isolate and attack half of their fan base over politics. Sebastian Bach is even worse!

Just checked it out on YouTube. His backing band is great! I think the standout track is “Silent Battles”. I’ll probably wait for a used copy.

Listened to it on Google Play Music, wow, intense and heavy, makes Twisted Sister sound like a pop band, may have to pick this up.

That is my favorite track too! I like the album. It’s pretty heavy, and Dee's singing hard on this. The first single - I Gotta Rock - is another favorite of mine.

I appreciate he doesn't just do Twisted Sister without the band and he really cranks on this.

I would have been okay with that, too!  Those five TS albums were pure magic!  Except for "Leader Of The Pack", they didn't have a bad song on any of the albums.  That was just a poor choice for a cover tune for a band like that.  It might have worked for Lita Ford, Joan Jett, or Vixen.
